A Better Way of Looking at Stress
Michael Clarkson - leading authority in the emerging field of fear management will discuss how we can use stress intelligently
and how we can make it work to our advantage.
Michael Clarkson
Michael Clarkson has been intensely researching fear management since 1988. Taking a new
approach to studying stress, Clarkson tells us that fear is at the base of the stress response, and shows us how to use nervousness to our advantage.
A former top amateur athlete, Clarkson has been a daily newspaper reporter since 1967, and has won 11 national and international awards. He received
international acclaim for a syndicated article on his encounter with reclusive author J.D. Salinger.
Clarkson is the author of Intelligent Fear - How to Make Fear Work for You and Quick Fixes for Everyday Fears, which contain clear and effective
strategies to deal with everything from fear of change, fear of technology, and even fear of going to the doctor.
